Chocolate-Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter chips
 Preheat oven to 350°.

Beat butter until creamy. Add sugars and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in vanilla.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter/sugar mixture until well blended.

Stir in pecans, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto lined or sprayed baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
