Praline Fudge Brownies

Bake or Break recipe, described here.

  • 1 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup Praline liqueur
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Melt butter and chocolate in the microwave or over low heat. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and sugar together. Add the butter mixture to the egg mixture. Then, add Praline liqueur.
Gradually add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in pecans.
Pour batter into greased/sprayed 9″ square pan. Bake for about 30 minutes, making sure not to over bake. Cool in pan and then cut into bars.
