Adopt-a-Blogger

Adopt-a-BloggerRecently, Kristen of Dine and Dish came up with the brilliant idea to help new food bloggers. Veteran food bloggers are paired with the new ones to serve as a source of support. When I started BoB in June of 2006, I mostly did that with my fingers crossed. I had no idea if anyone would read it or like it at all. As a new blogger, having someone to support you and your blog is really invaluable.

All of you kind people who read BoB are my greatest encouragement to keep baking and writing. Your support and comments are one of the most rewarding things about all of this. Starting a new blog can be a trying experience, and Kristen’s idea just makes it all a bit easier.

So, I have adopted Megan of Megan’s Cookin’. Megan started her food blog in September of 2007. She has offered up all kinds of dishes, but of course I can’t help but focus on the baking. Some of my favorites are Bourbon Pecan Tart, Ricotta Pound Cake, and Allspice Muffins.

Go check out her and her blog. And, if you frequent food blogs and like what you see, let them know! Trust me, it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for leading me to Megan’s Cookin’…I will be stopping by her blog frequently. As the adoptive parent you have endless expertise to share—what a lucky gal she is!

Hi. Is this progam still available? My poor blog is slow when it comes to traffic. She needs some guidance. :)
