Thanks, catarat. I have made several things with Nutella, but I don't really have anything to offer with a super-strong Nutella flavor. You might try these blondies if for no other reason than the dollop of Nutella on top. :-)

Hi - I love your website! I am obsessed with chocolate and baking, so I've bookmarked loads of these recipes for later. But i could not wait to make these, as I am bonkers over Nutella...your recipe is spot on (in the past I've had trouble getting these cookies to 'set' and they would remain glossy and chewy), but unfortunately I didn't have the liqueur, so the hazelnut-chocolate flavor of mine is pretty subtle...which is slightly disappointing as I always expect my baked goods to retain the goopy intense flavor and texture of the actual Nutella. They are delicious of course, but I'm wondering if you (or anyone) has come across any recipes that retain a really strong Nutella flavor? Or should I just stick to jar-spooning? :)

I just read that it is not made with peanut oil. Besides, my daughter (with a peanut allergy) is fine with commercial peanut oils as they do not contain the proteins.

I would double check with Nutella, but I do not think they use peanut oil like they used to do.

Be careful if you have kids with peanut allergies - Nutella is made with PEANUT OIL.

Jessica, I'm glad you liked them! You might try looking for some hazelnut flavoring instead of Frangelico. Although, I'm sure the vanilla worked well, too.

I've made the peanut butter/chocolate version of these since about the time I started walking. When I saw this recipe on your site, I started scouring import stores (I live in China) for Nutella. The Nutella was successfully procured, but no Frangelico.

Even with vanilla in place of the Frangelico, these were still really awesome...though I'm sure the Frangelico brings out the hazelnut flavour of the Nutella a bit.

Served to some friends and got rave reviews. Thanks for the idea!
